LAKE WINSBORO
Family weekend lakehouse sited on a ridge overlooking a secluded East Texas wooded lake. The house spans the site as a long linear bar of vertical sho-sughi-ban siding, corten steel, concrete, and glass. The primary living areas are kept transparent with floor to ceiling glass, providing views through the home and out to the east and west. The bedrooms and media rooms are kept private from the front and overlook the lake to the west. The site is sliced at the north end to provide access under the main structure to the lower outdoor patio.
